Yes, these items are allowed but because they are not on the materials list, they will need to be bonus items.  Each type of item is considered one bonus item, regardless of how many you use.  For example, if you use one chemical (3 ounces), PVC couplings (4 each), and PVC tees (5 each), all three of your bonus items are now used
