It may be difficult to transport 50lb sand and charcoal bag, and big rolls of hardware cloths.

A: It is highly recommended that teams keep their materials in the original packaging. However, if for transportation reasons a team must separate materials for transit, that is allowed as long as the material is not altered in any way and remains in the same condition as if it remained in its original packaging. For example, if sand is separated from the bag it was bought in, it cannot be wet. (Remember, sand may be washed prior to the competition but it CANNOT BE WET when brought to the competition.)
