1. A team consists of 3 members.
2. One of the members will hold the rope while the other two members paddle away from
the center.
3. No knots are permitted on the rope.
4. Teams may not rotate members for each round.
5. Before starting, the judge will ask both teams if they are ready. When both teams have
agreed and their canoes are centered, the judge will give the command to begin.
6. The flag on the middle of the rope will be center.
7. Once the first person in the canoe passes the starting place, the other team wins the
match. A judge standing in the water and a judge on land will decide this.
8. If a team drops the rope, the other team wins by default.
