Teams are comprised of two students from each school. Students will take turns tossing
their horseshoes at stakes in the ground, which will be about 40 feet apart. Each team
will have four horseshoes and each student will throw two horseshoes per round. Each
side of the court will have one student from both teams. Scoring will be based on the two
horseshoes closest to the stake; each of these is worth 1 point. If two teams’ horseshoes are
at equal distances, neither team gets a point. If a horseshoe is touching the stake, it is worth
3 points. The first team to reach 20 points wins the match. Time limit of each match is 15
minutes.
