After the wastewater is added to the treatment system, for how long is the treated water allowed to stay/settle in the retention basin before the water is tested?

After the wastewater is treated, it will sit for the remainder of your 10-minute pouring period and then for 20 additional minutes. This means your treated water could sit in the retention basin for up to 30 minutes total and at the 30-minute mark, samples will be taken for testing.
