Yes, teams may pre-wash their sand but only using water. The sand must be completely dry when brought to the competition and make sure to bring the original packaging for the sand to the competition as well.
Related Question: If you can wash sand before the competition as long as it is dry, can teams do the same thing for Granular Activated Carbon? Yes, if a team chooses to use activated carbon, that team may wash their GAC with water only and it must be dry upon arriving to the competition. |
